Frequently Asked Questions
These are the most commonly asked questions I get asked as a wedding photographer, if you have any questions that’s not answered, please feel free to get in touch.

Q: What is your travel radius since you're based in London?
Typically, I cover areas within the M25, but I'm also open to traveling to surrounding regions.

Q. How do we book?
To start, please reach out to check my availability for your wedding date. You can do this via the contact page.
Once we've discussed your wedding details and you're ready to proceed, I'll send you a booking form and a contract.

Q. What is the booking fee, and when is the final balance due?
The non-refundable booking fee is £200, payable via bank transfer upon signing the contract and returning the booking form. The final balance for your wedding photography is due three weeks prior to your wedding and will be stated in the wedding contract.

Q. Can you hold our date?
Unfortunately, I cannot hold specific dates due to the high volume of inquiries. Your wedding date becomes secure only when you've completed the booking form, signed the contract, and paid the £200 non-refundable booking fee.

Q. How many photos can we expect to receive?
The number of photos varies for each wedding, but a typical 10-hour wedding gallery usually contains around 400-700 photos.

Q. How will we receive our images?
All the images are delivered via my online gallery on Pixieset.com which is available to you for a minimum of 3 months.
From here, you can download your photos unlimited amount of times and share with friends and family. All images are delivered in high resolution and are free from watermarks.

Q. Do you capture formal family photos?
While I primarily focus on documentary-style photography, I understand that some couples want traditional group shots. I recommend keeping these to a maximum of six, and we can capture them quickly with the help of family members, ushers, groomsmen, or bridesmaids.

Q. How long does it take till we get our wedding photos?
Your entire wedding gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks.

Q. Will we have a chance to meet before the wedding?
A couple of weeks before the wedding, I'll contact you to arrange a final pre-wedding meeting. This meeting can be in person, via phone, or through Zoom. I'll also ask you to fill out a wedding questionnaire to ensure we're on the same page regarding details, timings, and formal photographs.

Q. Do you offer a second photographer?
Yes, I provide the option of a second photographer for an additional fee of £400.

Q. Are you insured?
Yes! Absolutely! I’m insured for public liability and professional indemnity.

Q. Can you photograph both of us getting ready?
If the timeline allows, I can capture images of both of you getting prepared. This is straightforward when you're getting ready at the same location, and it can be coordinated for different locations as long as timing and coverage limits align.

Q. What if you're unable to attend due to illness?
While I've never missed a wedding and don't plan to, in the unlikely event of an issue, I will connect you with photographers of a similar style and quality. If you choose another photographer, the fees paid to me will be refunded.

Q. What camera equipment do you use, and how do you handle equipment failures?
I use two Canon cameras, the R6 and R, and carry backup camera in case of any issues (although I've never experienced camera failure at a wedding). I also have multiple lenses to ensure smooth coverage and probability of all of them breaking at once is incredibly low.

Q. How do you keep our images safe after the wedding?
Great question!
I take several precautions to safeguard your images, including multiple backups and memory card redundancy to minimize the risk of data loss.

Q. Do you require a meal during the wedding?
I always bring my own food to weddings as I like to eat when the time allows.
Some soft drinks throughout the day would be lovely, but please do not feel the need to pay for food for me.

Q. Do you take couples portraits?
I understand that some couples may feel uncomfortable in front of the camera however i usually recommned at least one nice phoot of you two so yuo can frame it :) . We can discuss three options for couples portraits during our pre-wedding meeting, ranging from no portraits to a brief 10-20 minute session on the day.

Q. What can we do with the wedding images, and who owns the copyright?
I retain the copyright to the photos as my intellectual property. However, you are granted a license to use the images in any way you like, including printing, sharing, downloading, posting on social media, creating albums, and more.

Q. Do you offer wedding albums?
Unfortunately, I do not offer wedding albums. There are plenty options out there where you can have this done. My prices aslo reflect that.
